currently i'm reading "the artist's way. a spiritual path to higher creativity" by julia cameron. it's a very inspiring book on the subject of creativity. i recomend it to those who'd like to get to know their artistic side better

"Caribbean Mystery" by Agatha Christie
It's my first encounter with Christie's crime novel and I'm surprised it's so great! To be honest, I'm not very keen on reading detective stories, but this novel absorbed me so much that I couldn't stop reading it!

Indeed, "it's like wow"! I love the way she prestens the characters! Individually and in great details. Strongly recommend to those, who haven't come across Smith's prose yet.

i totally agree with you. all of her books are absolutely absorbing. the story becomes more and more interesting with evey page and i just have to read it to the last page as fast as possible

im readin The Godfather n i must say thats a one of the best books ever. i have cried twice readin this book already! shows kinda real things of mafia societies n u could read n read it al days long but equally thats pretty suprisin u can completely get lost in such a brutal story on ur hols!

My favourite English book is "Dracula"

I brought it from England, I went there for a trip and there it was, in a bookstore. I bought it without a moment's thought, I love books about vampires and other fantasy creatures, its the best relaxation for me

Lately, I'm not reading too much at all, I just finished my studies and I'm looking for my first job. I am an English teacher, so probably I will be looking for a job in schools and companys where interpreters are needed. Wish me luck!

Yes, it's a good idea considering the salary of young teachers. Private school may be a kind of relaxation from work in public schools

BTW, it would be better to write: "I signed an employment contract" instead of "I signed a job deal", but it's not very important

Reading in english I've starteds with books for kids, it's easier to understand so it's not frustateing me and I can read much more (longer).
I can recomend:
The Wiches ; Matilda by R. Dahl
Double Fudge by J. Blume
and more, bot now I can't remind any title or athor

In most these books are very funny.
Now I'm reading The nanny diaries by E. McLaughlin and N. Kraus - its kind of harder to read, I need to be more rapt.

Reviews you can read on amazon.com (for axample)

My advice: I dont check words in dictionary while reading - it was realy nerving me, and discouraging.
During reading the book I'm trying to understand meanings from context. I just underline unknown words and check them later (on first in english dictionary, and if I steel don't understand in eng-pol dict.). Than I make a list and I lern new words.

I hope its understandable what I've written (I don't trust my english skills)

Unfortunately I have to read "The Sun Also Rise" by E. Hemingway. I don't recommend it for sure. Maybe I don't understand this book but I'm short of time and I prefer to read it as fast as possible.
