I'm in the middle of one of the Star Wars novels - The Approaching Storm by Alan Dean Foster.
What can I say - I am a Star Wars freak and I read them all.

This particular one is set just before Episode II - Obi-Wan, Anakin, Liminara and Barriss are sent on the daring mission to Ansion planet to prevent the conflict and save the Republic. Great read if you like SW.

I'm going to start read "the devil wears prada" . i watched movie thousends times, but now I wanted to read that as well.
I read a lot in english, and like for now i haven't got problem with eanglish books. Sometimes i don't understand the words, but i still undrestand sentence.
anyway i love books in all languages

I'm reading 'Reading Lolita in Tehran' by Azar Nafisi. That's something. It's not only a book for me, it's more than just a book. But I red also a few critical arcticles about it f.ex. some Columbia Professor sees the book as basically being propaganda for the Bush administration to attack countries like Iran and Iraq.

Hogfather by Pratchett - I think it's the fourth consecutive year with this book for me

Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and the second part - Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Caroll. Both absolutely fanstastic

Knowing the plot is not enough really - one has to read the stories, I love the language.. who would have thought that these are for children.

harry potter and the deathly hollows (2nd time :P) and lost in transaltion by eva hoffman - absolutely fantastic memoirs of an immigrant from krakow who as a child moved with her family to canada.

ohhh i love this book. i read it for the firts time in Polish when i was about 15 and then at the uni, like u, for my literature class. it's so lovely, gloomy but lovely... one of the best books ever. makes u wonder how strong love can be...
